Very senior Oracle Financials management consultant is needed to lead an Oracle Financials R12 conversion project for a commercial bank. The customer is converting from an existing GEAC financials system to Oracle Financials.
This person will have the responsibility for oversight of the project and interfacing with the company's executive management team. Candidates must have held a program manager role or higher on at least two Oracle Financials projects that involved responsibility for a team with at least one project manager as a direct report.
Responsibilities:
Manage complex projects the conversion of GEAC to Oracle R12 Financials.
Manage project managers and functional leads.
Work closely with executives to gather technical requirements and develop project schedules.Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
Plan and schedule project schedules and resource allocation. Provides the senior management team with regular project performance status, variances to plan, and identification of corrective action.
Requirements:
Experience with at least one R12 Oracle Financials implementation is required.
Experience leading the conversion of legacy application to Oracle Financials.
Excellent leadership skills with an ability to manage teams of people and navigate internal channels.
Experience working and navigating large matrix environments with cross divisional stakeholders.
Must have excellent executive level relationship skills
Experience in deploying Oracle R12 for financial services would be a plus
Any experience in interfacing or converting from a GEAC system would also be a nice to have.
